Animal Kingdom
So I just found out my work location and I will be working Guest Relations at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. I was really hoping for Magic Kingdom because all of my other internships have been there, but there are a lot of positives to working at Animal Kingdom. Plus this will give me time to learn more about the park.
I just stumbled upon your blog and I feel so inspired. I got accepted to the 2013 fall advantage DCP, but I had to decline it due to poor timing. I plan on reapplying and attending the 2014 fall advantage. I'm a Public Relations and [Music] Business double major at my university, with the ideal goal of working in the Guest Relations field for Disney, primarily in the Fairytale Weddings Program! I hope you don't mind, but I definitely plan on following your blog for a while. : )
Thanks and if you want to do the Fairytale Weddings Professional Internship make sure you get as much experience in the event planning industry as possible. There is a lot of competition for it, I believe they only have 3 spots. Good Luck!
About the discounts: Can you book a vacation with your discount for after your program? Or do you have to use it while you're on your program?

You can only use the discount as long as you are still employed with the company. Once your no longer a CP or an employee you no longer receive the discount. In order for you to get a discount at the hotels, the final step is bringing your ID to the hotel. Once your program is over the ID id deactivated so you can not get the discount.
